Ikuna Koa is a 501(c)3, nonprofit, all volunteer organization located in San Diego, California on beautiful Mission Bay. Our location provides us great year-round weather and some of the best open-ocean training grounds available on the U.S. Mainland. Our goal is to Train, Compete, and Paddle with the best of the Aloha spirit embodied within the sport of Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe paddling and racing.

Our Race Program trains and fields competitive race teams that represent Ikuna Koa at races in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. Our Recreation Program provides an opportunity for adult outrigger paddlers to participate in the sport of Outrigger Canoe Paddling for fun and for fitness. And, our Na 'Opio (youth) Program affords young athletes a culturally rich athletic and social environment in which to train as competitors and grow as individuals.
